“HEROES” is a grassroots campaign allowing the American Red Cross to partner with community groups and individuals to raise funds for the services we provide 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We want to know your story or the story of someone you know who is a hero with the Red Cross. Whether it’s a lifelong blood donor, an instructor who taught you life-saving skills or a volunteer who dedicates time to the organization, the Red Cross wants to hear about it.

With your help, the Greater Carolinas Chapter can reach its goals of raising thousands of dollars from the Iredell County/Lake Norman community, increasing visibility of the Red Cross in the community, involving current volunteers and recruiting new ones!

WHO: Individuals, businesses, school clubs, civic groups, churches and other organizations.
WHAT: Pledge to raise $1,000 for the American Red Cross
WHY: To help support lifesaving programs and services in our community
HOW: Be creative!  Talk to your friends, family, business owners, churches, sponsor car washes, bake sales, consider selling Red Cross squares to display at schools, banks, storefronts, etc.
