Clara Barton Society

Clara Barton was the founder of The American Red Cross. In her honor, the Red Cross recognizes donors who contribute annually to our local Red Cross whereby all money raised serve the local community.

Membership in the Clara Barton Society is based on an individual’s annual giving during our chapter’s fiscal year. Unrestricted gifts to the chapter count toward an individual reaching a specific giving level.

Levels of giving at the Greater Carolinas Chapter are as follows:
Red Cross Caring Alliance – Caring Community Society: $25,000 per year for 5 years
Red Cross Caring Alliance – Caring Neighborhood Society: $10,000 per year for 5 years
Red Cross Caring Alliance – Caring Friend Society:  $1,000 per year for 5 years
Benefactors Club:  $25,000 or more in fiscal year
Pacesetters Club:  $10,000-$24,999 in fiscal year
Sponsors Club:  $5,000-$9,999 in fiscal year
Associates Club:  $2,500-$4,999 in fiscal year
Friends Club:  $1,000-$2,499 in fiscal year
