Give a Car, Save a Life

A vehicle donation to the American Red Cross Give a Car, Save a Life program is a hassle-free way to benefit you or your customers while at the same time helping the Greater Carolinas Chapter of the American Red Cross. Each generous donation of a car will significantly benefit community services while providing you or your customers with a deduction item when filing Federal Income Taxes. Our program is a cooperative effort with The Dealer Auto Auction in Charlotte and Thompson’s Towing.

The Red Cross can turn a used car, truck, van, or boat (with trailer) into much needed cash for ongoing services to support our mission of preventing, preparing for, and responding to local emergencies.

Donating a car is a simple process. It takes just one phone call or email and we take care of the rest...including removal of the vehicle at no expense to you!

The vehicle must be located in Mecklenburg or Iredell counties and have no parts hanging from the car (e.g. bumpers, headlights, etc.) The owner of the vehicle must have the title to sign over and the title must be free of all liens and taxes.
