Red Cross volunteers work directly with people, serve on boards of directors, serve as managers, advisors, and provide behind the scenes support.

Through our Volunteer Match program, we can work with you to provide rewarding experiences, opportunities to utilize your talents, or provide training to help you serve your community.

• Complete the volunteer application and mail it to The Sadie Fowler Disaster Operations Center, 2401 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28203; or e-mail it to .
• Register for and attend an interview (you will be contacted by our staff once your application is received)
• Successfully complete an online background check.
• Meet with the volunteer liaison in your area of interest.

How Can I Help?

TEENS (15 Years and Older)
Red Cross Youth Corps: If you enjoy volunteering as a part of a group, then the Youth Corps of Greater Carolinas Chapter of American Red Cross is for you! We meet one evening a month and have many community service activities throughout the year.

Activities include organizing a summer blood drive, playing with kids and helping them with their homework, volunteering with agencies like Crisis Assistance Ministries, holding social events with Senior Citizens and much more! Meet Students from other schools who are also making a difference in our community! Fulfill your service hour requirements for school!

BLOOD SERVICES
Do you like to meet new people? Have fun talking to all of our blood donors while providing assistance in our blood donors while providing assistance in our blood center or on bloodmobiles.  Weekday or weekend shifts available. You need to be at least 15 years old.
