Training & Certification
The Greater Carolinas Chapter of the American Red Cross not only responds to emergencies, but we teach people and businesses how to prevent them through a variety of safety classes, ranging from swimming lessons and Babysitter’s Training to CPR and First Aid.
With a history spanning more than 90 years, the American Red Cross is the Charlotte area’s premier provider of community safety training courses. Developed in conjunction with medical and aquatics experts, each program delivers the latest information and lifesaving techniques.
Last year alone, more than 50,000 people learned how to respond to emergencies and keep themselves and their families safe through the Greater Carolinas Red Cross programs.
The Greater Carolinas Chapter also offers convenient ways to get trained, such as online training.
